Zoë Diamadi

Biography

Zoë Diamadi is an operating advisor at Bessemer and a seasoned technology leader who brings 20 years of experience as an engineer, management consultant, and intrapreneur. Zoë advises portfolio companies on go-to-market topics, spanning revenue growth strategy, efficient scaling, organization, and operational excellence for sales, customer success, account management, and operations.

Currently, Zoë is the general manager at Upwork, a global marketplace connecting businesses with independent professionals worldwide. As a member of the executive team, she is responsible for UpWork enterprise and managed services, across R&D and go-to-market functions.

Prior to Upwork, Zoë worked at LinkedIn and has held several executive positions within their B2B organization. First, as the global lead of business operations, where she played a pivotal role in scaling four enterprise business lines, as well as general manager, where she spearheaded the development of LinkedIn Elevate, the top employee advocacy solution, helping organizations empower their employees on social media.

Additionally, Zoë's diverse experience includes her tenure as an associate partner at McKinsey & Company where she specialized exclusively in the high-tech industry and addressing challenges in the go-to-market and commercial operations.

Zoë earned her degree from the University of Patras and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science from Yale University.
