Ross Matican

Biography

Ross Matican is a content manager at Bessemer, where he works with the investment and marketing teams to produce the firm’s thought leadership reports on Atlas. He also works closely on Bessemer’s email and social media marketing efforts.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Ross was a content strategist at Carta, where he worked on product marketing and brand editorial content. Ross began his career as a tech reporter, covering IPOs and financing trends for The Information. 

Originally from northern New Jersey, Ross has been progressively moving west. Before he moved to San Francisco, Ross studied at Carleton College in Minnesota, where he earned his BA in sociology and anthropology with distinction on his senior thesis. Outside of work, you can find Ross jogging on the Panhandle, cooking, writing, practicing meditation, and planning his next trip.
