Monica Gomez Chico

Biography

Monica Gomez Chico is an office assistant based in Bessemer’s Larchmont office.

Prior to joining Bessemer, Monica spent her professional career as a self-employed entrepreneur, launching two businesses. In 2005, she co-founded Gourmetrica, a Mexico City-based company offering team building through cooking activities. In 2019, she launched The Work Inn, a low-cost coworking space in Larchmont. Though it has since closed, it remains one of her most rewarding experiences to date.

Monica received her BA in communications and media studies from the University of Anahuac. She was born and raised in Mexico City and moved to New York, where she currently resides with her husband and two daughters, Fernanda and Emilia. In her free time, Monica enjoys baking, cooking, reading mystery novels, and hiking with her family.
