Libby Leffler
Biography
Libby Leffler is an operating advisor at Bessemer where she brings more than 15 years of experience in general management, revenue scaling, marketing, business development, and partnerships. She loves building high-growth businesses and bringing leaders together to create focused, world-class teams.
Most recently, Libby was president of Northern California and Nevada at Compass, scaling the company's largest market to represent 25% of total company revenue at IPO. At Compass, Libby oversaw market business operations, M&A integration, revenue growth and retention, customer success, and adoption of technology tools, and platform.
Before Compass, Libby was vice president and business unit lead at SoFi. Prior to SoFi, Libby held several high-impact roles at Meta (then called Facebook) across sales, business development, and strategic partnerships. While at Meta, Libby was the first business lead (chief of staff) to Chief Operating Officer, Sheryl Sandberg. Libby began her career in online sales and operations at Google.
Libby received a BSc in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA with highest distinction from Harvard Business School. Libby lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and daughter.
