Laura Dholakia

Biography

Laura Dholakia is an operating advisor at Bessemer where she brings over twenty years of experience in technology, spanning strategy, analytics, and operational leadership.

As the vice president of business operations and analytics at LinkedIn, she led the company’s efforts to drive results through data, operational insights, and strategic initiatives. Her team was responsible for end-to-end strategy, performance management, and analytics across all across product, sales, marketing, customer support, and HR.

Prior to LinkedIn, Laura was an associate partner at McKinsey & Company where she focused on solving key strategic and operational issues for many of the world’s leading technology players over the course of more than thirty engagements. She started her career as a programmer at Trilogy Software, building online sales solutions for Fortune 500 clients before transitioning into various leadership roles within the company.

Laura graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with dual degrees in mechanical engineering and English and earned her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
