Elena Iacovelli

Biography

Elena Iacovelli is a senior events manager based in Bessemer’s San Francisco office, where she oversees Bessemer’s events for portfolio companies.

Elena’s passion for fostering meaningful connections between people in the tech industry has shaped her career. Before joining Bessemer, Elena was the global events manager at SaaStr, the world's largest community of SaaS executives, founders, and entrepreneurs. In this role, she worked closely with new founders and entrepreneurs and played a pivotal role in producing SaaStr Annual, the industry's largest non-vendor event, and SaaStr’s first conference in Europe. Prior to SaaStr, Elena honed her skills as a senior events and PR manager at D2IQ, executing events and PR initiatives that showcase the company's platform.

Originally from the Bay Area, Elena earned her BS in nutritional science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active, indulging in a good book, and exploring the world of wine.
