Barak Turovsky

Biography

Barak Turovsky is an operating advisor and product and business leader with over 25 years of experience in artificial intelligence (Generative AI/Large Language Models, Computer Vision, etc), Ads & Commerce, Cloud applications, and Enterprise Software.
Barak currently serves as Vice President of AI at Cisco, where he leads research, engineering, and product teams to develop cutting-edge AI technologies and solutions.

Prior to Cisco, Barak spent a decade at Google as Director and Head of Product for the Languages AI area within Google AI. In this role, he leveraged advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to create transformative experiences across Google products, including Search, Translate, Ads, Cloud, and others. He also served as Head of Product for Google’s Mobile Commerce team, driving innovation in mobile shopping and payments.

Barak’s leadership experience extends beyond Google. He was Chief Product and Technology Officer at Trax, a leading provider of Computer Vision AI solutions for the Retail and Commerce industries. Additionally, he served as an Executive in Residence at Scale Venture Partners, a prominent enterprise-focused venture capital firm.

Having lived over 10 years in three different countries—Russia, Israel, and the United States—Barak brings a global perspective to his work and is fluent in three languages. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
