Amy Weyler

Biography

Amy Weyler is Bessemer’s Vice President of Global Talent based in San Francisco. She supports portfolio companies in hiring and scaling their teams by providing talent acquisition, assessment, team building, and compensation expertise. Additionally, she collaborates with the internal talent team to selectively execute C-level searches.

Before joining Bessemer, Amy was a Partner at Laurel Group, where she led executive-level searches for diverse clientele. Prior to that, she developed Stripe’s Executive Recruiting team, where she recruited leaders to expand the Marketing, Sales, Partner, Legal, Engineering, and Design departments.
Amy's experience also includes a role on the AWS Executive Recruiting team, where she was responsible for scaling the business and hiring leaders in Go-To-Market and Product divisions. She also established the Go-To-Market division for The Diestel Group search firm and held marketing and leadership positions at what is now Verizon Wireless.

Throughout her 20+ year career, Amy has supported a wide range of technology companies, from startups to Fortune 50 corporations. She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Communications and Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Amy resides in Sun Valley, Idaho, where she enjoys the mountain lifestyle with her husband and their yellow Labrador, Quincy.
